For the time being, we leave you with the information of the XV International Medieval Pinchos and Tapas Competition held in Hondarribia last October, in which the 7 finalist chefs took part, one representing each city, who prepared a pincho or tapa with ingredients that existed in the Middle Ages.
A professional jury made up of 3 chefs: Fernando Llorente, Abel Torres and Renaud Bouchet have chosen the MEDIEVAL CHEF 2023.
The list of winners has been:
Medieval chef: Cristian Solana from the establishment Restaurante El Puntido// in Laguardia with the pincho LA ALQUIMIA.
Second-place: Gorka Irisarri from the Danontzat establishment in Hondarribia with the ERROMESA skewer.
Most Original Tapa Award: Severiano García from the Hotel Restaurante Oasis in Jerez de los Caballeros with the skewer: TROUT CUP.
